If i was to look for a second job, eg, some night time or weekend bar work or something. How would it affect my IVA?

I'm just trying to think of ways to make some extra money to buy xmas presents as at the minute i've nothing spare to buy any or even join in any xmas festivities.

If you are going to take a second job, then that income would have to be disclosed under the terms of your IVA - and you would need to pay over 50% of the net, after any additional expenses such as travelling expenses, to your Supervisor for the benefit of creditors.

This is always a hard time of the year, and if you are intending on just doing a few extra hours to supplement your Christmas shopping, I am sure that your Supervisor will be sympathetic to this!

If any of our cases had your scenario I would certainly be sympathetic at this time of the year.

hi david Mond welcome to the forum i am an old member who was banned i got on my soap box and my views were to strong so regretably was banned[:I]i thought melanie was our shining light on here and recommended her to many in the process of iva etc but it looks like we have you also now the forum is a godsend and you experts calm all our nerves so keep up the good work [8D]

Can I just say David, that Melanie hasn't been sailing solo. There are a number of IPs and other experts who post on here regularly.

My apologies - of course there have been and I would not detract from their good and positive advice in any way.

yes i dont think david ment it in that context kallis we all appreciate the experts views it was me that mentioned melanie due to the hours she puts in on here and the volume of responses.

its not just the experts that help its the members too. would not have got through last few months without this forum
