Dear all
is the basic account with only cash card is must for Dmp or IVA ?or current account with debit card without overdraft is ok? is there any link of MBNA to Co op bank. i have mbna credit card and planning to use co up account with electron card. any problem? appeciate your advice.

A current account with debit card and no overdraft is fine.

I don't think there are any links between MBNA and the Coop.

co op are not linked to mbna and the account is the one I have. I think its great,online banking and never had any problems paying cheques in via post office(no branch of co op within 35 miles).

I Owed MBNA £1500 with my IVA and set up a Co-op cashminder account with no problems.
