Hi all
This might sound a strange thing to say but it's good to be back here. 12 months ago I was here looking for help with my debts. At teh time I thought I could deal with it myself and so embarked on talking with my creditors directly and came to an agreement with. All was working fin until earlier this year my dad died and without going into detail it knocked me sideways. As a result finances took less of a priority and I now find myself falling behind on payments. Not because I can't pay them but because my mind has been in a different place and so I haven't kept up the payments. As a result I am now being threatened with a CCJ by two of my creditors. After a long hard look I have decided that I need help with thiEspecially after sitting down and suddenly realising that if I did carry with my arrangement then it would take me almost 20 years to pay it off!!!
Anyway i am here now and have learnt my lesson. I will be making plans to speak with a couple of companies but have two questions.
1. The CCJ's haven't started yet and I haven't even received the solicitors letters. How do Igo about sorting these out?
2. I currently have a debit card bank account with Lloyds that I opoend just over 12 months ago in anticipation of my previous bank freezing my account, which they did. I do not have any debt with the LTSB Group. Am I able to keep this account going or will I need to inform them of what I am doing?
Sorry for the long post!!
