i recieve disability living allowance as well as income support. does the DLA count as income for an IVA as this money is not taxable and is not classed as income when applying for any other benefits and is supposed to go towards personal care and mobility?

Yes - DLA is classed as income for the purpose of an IVA, but you should try to absorb all of this on actual living costs as it is not really paid to you to pay to creditors.

If you have higher rate mobility in with that, you are allowed to use it for a car in an IVA.

Is your income only made up of benefits?? In which case IVA may not be the best route for you.
You should take advice from a number of people before deciding what your best options are. I get DLA for my children but one lot was cancelled out as extra expenses.

Do you qualify for an IVA? Have you spoken to someone, it is likely that an IVA will not be the most suitable solution to your circumstances. Have you considered DM or bankruptcy? Can you tell us some more about your circumstances?
