Hi
Barclaycard had a deciding vote and did not vote.
HSBC voted yes and it's clearly a dividend less than 40p
Interesting

Congratulations to you and well done.

that looks like a prety good result for everyone. Shame that Max didn't see the big picture though. But as Andy says interesting to see that HSBC voting yess for under 40%

Perhaps it is the end of the hurdle rate .

Well done ...

I am surprised that Max would vote "no" when their return would probably be for a lot more than what they had actually bought the debt for? Why would they do this for?

Makes me a little concerned with my full and final coming up as they own quite a lot of my debt now.

I was wondering ... I am offering the same return under a final and final as under my IVA but the IVA would still have had another four years to run ... are they able to ask for more than was originally accepted in the IVA?

Well ... whatever, I am very philosophical re my creditors meeting as if they vote "no" I shall simply be making an appointment with the OR and attend with the £38,000 in the bank and let the OR sort it! There is virtually no equity in my house now anyway ... thank goodness

I think that there may have been a different vote from HSBC had they been an influencing creditors - ie more than 25%, but who knows!

I would not worry about Max, Debbie, they are usually pretty commercial about settlements, and as they only paid a fraction of the amount you are offering are likely to take the money and run.
