I have just had a call from GE Capital, who are one of my creditors (2 store cards) wanting to see if they could give me some money!

I explained that I had just started an IVA, and she then wanted to know if they could call me in 12 months time! I had to point out that I was in my IVA for 5 years at least. I do wonder if she actually knew what I was talking about!

i very much doubt it!!![:D]

So far this year I have had my bank offer me 2 loans and one of my creditors (A&L) also offre me a loan referring to the fact that I had successfully concluded my previous loan with!!! Define successfully?!?!?

Just got e - mail from Egg, my new statement is ready to view apparently!!!

I wonder whether you would be able to if you tried though ?

That's one of the advantages I've found, of having the IVA - I get a lot less junk mail than I used to ! My recycling bin has neber been lighter !

It beggars belief really dont it ?
It just proves the lack of communication in some of these businesses

i have just contaced GE money re loan missing pyt (meeting monday). tried to sell me a freedom finance consolidation loan so my credit rating won't be affected!! what are these people on??? adv if she could give me a £63,000 loan interest free.. she just stuttered and adv letters of default would just keep coming until meeting sorted!! thought she might change her mind!![:I]

I Know what you mean! I have had the same. Letters of offers of loans to consolidate debts etc. And also a couple of Credit Cards offers with limits of £5,000! Obviously these went straight into in to the bin. But these letters are probably from the marketing departments who obviously do not share the same database as the credit checking departments database. So if we did try and apply the details most likely would be past for credit checks.....well you can guess the rest; I presume it would be rejected!!
