Your Mum will understand that you kept it from her as you did not want to worry her. It is such a shame that these things have to be publicly advertised and cause such pain amongst families, when you have probably tried your best to deal with the debts rather than walk away from them.
I would go and see your Mum as soon as you can to clear the air. Things like this do have a horrible habit of festering if you are not careful.

i know, she is as good as gold but she does have a mother's way of making you feel like your 3 years old again, i should go tomorrow as my children go to her after school but tempted to put off seeing her for a couple of days though, though i must admit my putting things off which i am very guilty of is partly how i got in this mess in the first place. x

Phone her first to see how the land lies - she is probably just as nervous as you are to raise the issue. And remember that the newspaper will be wrapping chips tomorrow!

I'm sure once your mum has said what she needs to say (the usual motherly lecture) that will be the end of it.
I'm also sure that she would be as relieved as you are that you have closure to your financial worries.

Hiya I had similar tonight and I ended up telling my mum and she ended up being completly opposite from what I thought and I am so relieved. I am a bit nervous about seeing he on saturday but after then I will be fine and it may even bring us closer together. Hopefully for you will find a similar experience. I wish you all the best as its appearing to me to be a very up and down journey but will be worth it in the end.
All the best
jayne xx

Hope your feeling a bit better today. It's better to be upfront with your mam, especially now she knows about the br. It will give you an opportunity to explain things to her. You'll probably find she is fine with it and just pleased to know you have sorted things out and you're going to ok,
xx

Hi sjw
You need to go and see your mom and explain it all. She will not want you to suffer anymore than you already have. I know its hard but be totally honest. We all make mistakes and you have faced yours head on, thats a brave thing to do. Let her in and let her say whats she needs to say. Whatever happens she loves you.

I told my mum at the beginning and she was really understanding. I didn't want to tell her, but it was such a relief when I did.
Good luck with your mum sjw x
