Hi,

i have not paid into iva for 2 months because of redundancy.(this will be repaid when i receive redundancy money.)i have however been paying all overtime into the iva from wifes wages as opposed to the 50% uplift to show willing to creditors during this time.

I have recieved wages from two companies this month because since i was made redundant i left a job and started another which will mean that i will have approx £1000.00 disposable before overtime to pay in this month(normal payment is £700.00).

My question is : will it be acceptable to the creditors/iva company to only pay the 50% overtime in this month from our wages. My wife has done 50 hrs as there are so many things we need at the moment ?

Many Thanks.

Hi there

I really would suggest contacting your IP and talking with them about this as some IP's advice may differ from others.

Surely they will be reasonable in a situation like yours, I would hope[:)]

Why have you been paying more than you need to?
