The idea behind Think Banking is sound but I want to share my experience with others.

I have paid in my salary, which covers my direct debits and leaves me with £400 per month on the card.

Some 12 days after being issued with the card I still dont have a pin. I was assured its on its way but I could use the card for on-line purchases. Ive just tried to do an online shop at Tescos and the card, which is activated, has just been declined by the card issuer.

I have no way of buying food - and Think banking have all gone home

Do think twice about using these guys. Their idea is good, but they are playing. Their systems just dont work

I had a problem the other day with my card being declined. I rang them and the problem was with the inputting at the other end not them, to do with the delivery address not matching the car address tney are sensitive so if theey differ it will decline unless the full card adress is input first. Anyway it then went through. I shop at tesco online all the time and have never had a problem. If it is your first shop then when you fill in the card details if it asks for an issue no then put 0 in the box, again mine went through then. Otherwise ring tesco and get them to see if they can sort it over the phone.
I actualliy like thinkbanking and am more than ahppy with them but I know others havent been, maybe ours is more straightforward to run I dont know. Just in case they are open in the morning. Hope you sort it.

thats right they are open tomorrow, i know they had technical difficulties last week, its hard to get through to them tho that is one of my hangs up with them, i hate the way they split our money as mine goes in monthly so they take a huge chunk of mine for all the bills in one go instead of splitting it between the month as hubby gets paid weekly, but on the whole as long as i have no problems and there is enough money in my account i can't complain.
