Hello everyone, I last week completed a questionnaire regarding an IVA, on a website called trapped.co.uk - which I have since found out is linked to a company Money Debit & Credit. Since completing this questionnaire I have been receiving 2-3 telephone calls per day from loan companies saying "you have recently applied for a loan"! Which is not correct - I wouldn't be applying for a loan when going down the IVA route. These calls have been on my home number (which is ex-directory) and my mobile. Has anyone else experienced this? I am worried that my credit report will show I have applied for a loan when I haven't - and this will affect the outcome of any IVA.

It's quite misleading isn't it ?

It gives you lots of options to sort out finances, but right at the bottom, there's an APR which would indicate (on very close inspection) that it's run by the loan company.

It would seem that none of those links to external sites does anythying other than forward you to the "calculator". I wonder whether the other companies are aware of this ???

Thank you joh71262 - It was late evening and I was at my wits end about my debts and thats why I completed the calculator. Since having received all the calls I have gone back to the site and saw the APR at the bottom which then started ringing alarm bells. I will write to them. Thanks
