Please can you tell me if a husband and wife can take a joint IVA ? As both have credit card debts and a loan which are in our own names or would we need to get our own IVA's
and should we seek help from a local company ( oxfordshire ) or a national comany ? Thanks

Hi john

Would strongly suggest you get the authority and industry clout of a national firm with the care and personal relationships of a local one.

Please check out Melanie Giles and Ian Millington - both are on the experts page and I know they will both do a great job.

you can check out feedback for both via this site and at iva.com

If your circumstances are appropriate, then you ought to propose separate IVAs as the legislation originally intended. Mutual and interlocking procedure should only be used if one or both proposals could not stand up without the support of the other parties contribution.
