Hello,
I am very interested in starting and applying for an IVA. I have a small business which I still intend to get going and so I wondered if having an IVA would mean that I had to close my business account? Would I also have to close my personal accounts? Not that I have a lot of money in them... but it would be good to keep an account to grow on whilst adhering to benefits of the IVA.
Thankyou,
Andy

Hi there and welcome to the forum

Do you have debts at present with the bank with whom you hold the business account? If so, then you will need to open a new one. The same goes for the personal accounts as well.

What sort of business are you in, and is a separate business account essential? Also do you need the facility to take payments from customers by credit or debit card?

Hi Andy

Welcome to the Forum ... just to say that I am self-employed and an IVA was a very good good thing for me.[:)]

All the best
