Hi all,

I have a new job opportunity which involves moving to Spain next year and am really tempted to go for it. Trouble is, it would mean less money available for my IVA.

I will be 3 years into the IVA by that stage, so what complications will be involved? (And what are the consequences of not paying it?[;)])

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave

You have to make a lifestyle decision here and prioritise what is more important. If the move to Spain is good for your career, perhaps a failed IVA and subsequent bankruptcy might be the bst way forward in the long term. Do you have any assets which would be at risk under bankruptcy proceedings?

Thats a tough one...I would sit and down write down the pros and cons. Good luck with everything. What part of Spain?

Just wanted to wish you good luck Dave ... a difficult decision for you but perhaps the chance of a brighter future?

As with Melanie's suggestion, would bankruptcy perhaps be the best answer for you so that you can move on to a new life with a fresh start?

All the best

Debbie

Thanks Guys.

I am currently renting a bedroom off a mate and don't own a car. So as far as assests go, I have none.

I am really tempted by this but need to be clear.

Thanks for responding BTW
