Is this your main residence or a second property ?
You will need to take expert advice on this matter before committing to an IVA[you state that you are applying, has this question been discussed with the company arranging your IVA?].I suggest that you speak to a company on this site.

If the house is your own legal asset then depending on the equity available you may not even be insolvent. If you are still insolvent then if there is equity available you may have to put some or all of this money towards your creditors. Your situation sounds complicated so I would suggest that you seek expert advice. Please feel free to browse our website and call us for some free advice on this matter.
Best Regards
