Hi Melanie (or anyone that can help),
I am well into my second year of my IVA which is going very well touch wood and i got married 2 months ago.
My question is would it be possible to rent out my property (no equity by the way) whilst I go and live a few miles away with my husband in his property as a newly married couple?
Thank you

Hi, I'm sure Melanie or one of our professional posters will be along soon to give their reply. IN the meantime I would like to congratulate you on your marriage and hope you're able to move in with your husband. x

Absolutely no problem at all - so long as this does not affect your IVA payments, and you accept that if this leaves you with a greater surplus that your IVA payments will need to increase.

Melanie, thankyou so much for lifting a massive weight off my shoulders. You always have a knack for not making things seem so doomed when you have an iva. Please can you tell me what i would need to do to do to put this all in motion with my ip? Btw, this rent would be just to cover the mortgage and nothing more. All expenses and outgoings and salary remain the same. Btw, did i forget to mention that i am 6 weeks pregnant?! Thanks again
