I have incurred several late payment fees for my credit cards. Can these be wiped out by entering into an IVA?

Rachel

If you enter into an IVA, any interest or late payment charges you have incurred to that date would be included within your IVA. As such, you will not be responsible for trying to repay them yourself over and above your agreed monthly IVA payment.

Hi,
I have been struggling to keep the wolves at bay, by opening new credit accounts, but have now racked up over £35,000 pounds in debt [:(] and regretfully realise I cannot cope and am considering an IVA.

I appreciate that the equity in my home will be used to contribute to an IVA. Would the equity be valued at the start of the IVA or at the end? It should be worth much more after 5 years as I live in an area of old neglected houses - which are quickly being bought up and improved by young people as the old inhabitants die off.
