My concern is with identity fraud. With all the problems at the Inland Revenue of late with all child support details going missing, name address and date of birth, I think about this register and the fact that all this information is on a public register

It is just open to abuse. Something needs to be done about it to protect us from future use of our details, when we get a clean record for example the details obtained from this insolvency register could be used to commit identity fraud, maybe not now as I doubt any creditor would touch me but all this information could be a ticking time bomb in 6 years time!

I am not even sure why our date of births is needed to be recorded on such a public internet register anyway, surely this is in violation of the data protection act, as the information is most certainly not secured.
