My daughter has told me that she was persuaded to include her student loans in the amount she owed even though she wasn't earning enough to repay them. She was also off sick when the negotiations were completed and she was actually unemployed (sacked because of sickness!) when she signed the agreement. She is now thinking of bankruptcy. If I had known about all this at the time I could have helped her but it appears too late now for 'final settlement'

Hi worriedma and welcome to the forum

I am sure I responded to this query the other day, but you can still offer a full and final settlement on the basis that your daughter has lost her job. Ask her IP to provide you with a settlement figure - and just to reconfirm the point that the IP was absolutely correct to include her Student Loans in the IVA proposal. They are debts regardless of when they are due to be repaid.
