After what seems to have taken forever my remortage with GMAC has gone through. So it wont be long now to the money can be sent to my IP. I did have one slight scare which I managed to sort out. The way mortgage fell the first payment was due on the 15th of the month and then it would come out on the 1st of each month. The problem was that it ment that I was going to have to find the money for two mortgage payments in one month. Having spoken to GMAC they have kindly moved the payment from the 1st to the 31st which gives me time to get paid.
I was talking to my old mortgage company (Nationwide) and asked them how long it would be before I could come back to them as I was now in a IVA. They told me they could not promise me anything but I might be able to go back to them after the IVA had been cleared for 1 year.

Phew... seemed a long time coming, glad it's finally getting sorted
