I am fairly sure I know the answer to this question but I'll ask it anyway. I understand the rule when it comes to overtime ( split 50/50 with creditors) Has anyone ever heard of a modification where debtors get 100% of their overtime a month or two before christmas? [:I]

I am afraid not, Max. There is no seasonality about the 50% modification, as creditors expect you to save up you share for the festivities.

I've been collecting Sainsburys savings stamps so that the food will be paid for and I'll have some spare money from the food budget.

We have started saving asda stamps for xmas. I am hoping with my imminent re mortgage to have a 'mortgage free' month. That would cover xmas no problem! Fingers crossed. If not then I will just have to fatten up my youngest [:D]

Hi
We are saving £40 a month from the housekeeping bill to pay for Christmas! (Three kids, big extended family, lots of entertaining etc)
This will be our first Christmas in an IVA so we will have to see if we manage. I must confess that in previous years we have overspent at Christmas, so it will be a challenge for us to stay in budget!

I certainly won't have any problem with overspend this year!! I will be working as much overtime as possible (without killing myself!)
