Checked this morning and I'm now on the Insovency Register. I have been waiting to see this since my IVA was approved as it has now made it real. That may sound odd, but until I saw it officially recorded, it hadn't hit home. I feel a lot better now that I have seen it. The final piece of the jigsaw will be when I make my first payment. My IVA was approved on 13 June and I make my first payment on 1 July. I set up the standing order over the phone with The Co-Operative Bank, (my new bank after HSBC), and it is now listed under my standing orders on their internet banking website. I was expecting to make a payment by debit card on the 13th, but with it now being on the 1st of each month after I get paid, I have been able to put some money away for contingencies. This money will not be touched unless absolutely necessary.

Good stuff Sensible and well done for making an extra provision for contingencies that's an excellent idea.
