Hi there and welcome to the forum
In order for me to be able to answer your query, as one of the forum experts, could you post a little more information about your current circumstances. Do you have debts - if so how much do you owe? How much is the equity in your property?

How much is the outstanding mortgage and any other charges against the property - ie I am trying to ascertain the equity figure available to you. Do you intend to propose your IVA on the basis of a full and final settlement using equity released from the property sale?
If your wife has no debts of her own, she is entitled to do what she likes with her share of the equity.
