Hi. I've read the posts on the IVA Council (miss-selling redress) because I got one of their letters. I can't work out though whether the advice from the boards is to disregard this company or see if they can help. I'd be grateful of any advice.

				Hi
All that the IVAC can do is pass you onto a company that will charge to "help" you petition for bankruptcy.
You do not need to pay a company to do this, you can easily do this yourself.
If you feel that you have been miss sold an IVA then the IVAC are promising a mass legal case to have monies refunded to you.The only problem with that,if it ever happens[doubtful]is that you will be back to square one.
There is no doubt that there has been SOME miss selling of IVAs but I personally am not convinced that the IVAC motives are not for financial gain. They have strong links to a bankruptcy company[set up by the same person that set up the IVAC] that they have referred people to very recently
Do you feel that you have been miss sold an IVA and if so can you give more details ?
