The people who lived in our house before us had a little boy who was probably about 2 years old. When Dave pulled the old oven out to fit the new one he found a child's pretend credit card! I find it very worrying that children can have pretend credit cards - they don't need to be made to think that credit cards are the norm any more than they will as they are growing up.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Mine has never really seen money changing hands so I suppose they make an assumption. Even now I rarely have cash. Pay for everything via switch and anything over £5 for school by cheque. Cat1

				Hey skippy,
Yes, very much a cause for concern, sign of the times? And they wonder why.
It send shivers down my spine when I think back to a year ago in Tesco's when my daughter said to me 'I can't wait till I grow and get a credit card' Shocked 'why'?? I replied 'cause you can buy loads of stuff and you don't have to pay for it' Scary, but they do learn from us. Too easy, and debt should never be a play thing, listen up debt marketing people, you are building future IVA's for yourselves with debt toys!!
