I am a law student. I am currently completing my graduate diploma in law and will be doing the LPC part time. This will mean i graduate in june 2010. Will declaring bankruptcy now affect my ability to become a solicitor?

I have known a solicitor who went bankrupt and he was allowed to keep his qualifivation but was not allowed to practise.
