I know you will appear on the insolvency register for the life of the IVA - but what about the court process? - is this public?[?]

No - the only people who will know about this are the clerks in the Court, who will open a file abd probably sit it on a dusty shelf for the duration.

The court files it and that's about it. It's not public except in the area you have mentioned.
