Not looking for to this as I think i've said several times now haha. The interview is at 9.30 so i've got time to take my daughter to school and get back.
I've read stories on here about the interview being alright but I don't think mine will be, it's a little complicated. I just want it over with now and face whatever they throw at me.
I'll let you know what happens and post my outgoings and the outgoings the OR allows as there is a £3 surplus at the moment and that includes child benefits and tax which i've read they don't count.

Hi Katy
Good luck for today - I know and understand your concern as I am going to be going down that road shortly, but as the others on this forum who have already walked this road say, we just have to be honest and all should be ok. Let us know how you get on.
Will be thinking of you

Thanks

I will indeed let you know. My husband has already told his employer that we are bankrupt and he was ok with it, so at least he wont lose his job or the house (it's tied in with his job) which was my main worry.

Good luck for the meeting Katy. The only advice I can give you is:
If possible have a copy of your BR papers with you
Be honest with the OR
If you don't know the answer to a question say so
Only answer the questions the OR ask - don't offer any more information!
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Thanks everyone.
Shoot me now! I've never felt so stupid in all my life, the OR man was very nice but when it was all spelt out to me I realised how totally stupid i've been. He was really interested in loans and not much else. He didn't, howver, go through my income and expenditure with me, so maybe he's saving that for my husband this afternoon as he's the worker.
I rang my husband to tell him how I got on and it ended up in him having a right go at me for getting us into this mess in the first place - the first time he's really done that so don't feel too good although I totally deserve it.

Dont worry, whats done is done, and the future can only get better.
In years to come this will all be a dot on the horizon.

Getting into Debt doesn't make you a bad person... I suppose at times we could all be accused of being daft or burying our heads in the sand but at least you are facing your problems.
Good Luck
Chris

Thank you, I feel like a bad person right now because it's all my fault and my husband had no real part in it but he's been made to pay the same as me. His only mistake was to leave the finances to me.
Thanks for all your help and advice everyone I would still be struggling and losing sleep if it wasn't for the lovely people on here.

Hi Katy
Perhaps this is his way of showing that he is nervous and people always tend to take it out on the ones they love the most. All will be fine, just let him deal with this in his own way. You have stuck together so far, been through the mill and you will come out the other end!!!
Hang in there!

Sorry that you are feeling low at the moment Katy, but please remember that we are human and are bound to make mistakes. The most important thing is not that you made a mistake but that you are learning from it.

Ah thanks, i'll get over it. Just having one of those wake up and smell the coffee days I think. I have learnt no end from all this, i'm going to take pride in saving up for something I want in future and will definately try and instill the value of money into my daughter.
