hi everyone,
just a quick query as cant get hold of ip til 2 morrow. had my iva approved on 29th august 2007. have just recieved my first pay slip. in addition to my monthly salary, i have accrued some out of pocket expenses (which i had to use my own money, and claim back), and milage allowance. the milage is worked out on each mile you travel in work time and has to be claimed back monthly. i am just wondering how to work out what/ or if i need to pay extra this month. I have the 50/50 overtime clause but cant find anything about milage. the milage this month is £130,but covers my milage expenses for last 3 months as i have been off sick after an operation.
many thanks for your support x

Hi
Your mileage allowance will be yours to keep in full.Just send a covering letter, clearly explaining this, when you send in your pay slips to your IP

The money you are paid for this mileage will be offset by the money you have spent so you will not have to make an extra payment into the IVA.
