Hi
Usually the IVA process is done by phone and post, unless you are self employed where you do have to have a meeting with your IP.
My advice would be to spend time reading this forum and then to speak to several companies.I would then make time and visit my proposed IVA provider and have a one to one meeting.

Hi Jacko,
If you are looking for an IVA firm to represent you then you might find our web site useful. We maintain a list of IVA firms and IPs and publish reviews that have been posted by their clients.
We also have a map function that enables you to find which IVA firms are local to you. We recommend speaking to several firms before choosing which one to work with.
Good luck with your search.
Kind regards,
Terry Balfour

Welcome to the Forum Jacko,
Usually an IVA/I.P company will gain all the information by telephone and then send the paperwork out to you for checking. However if you choose a local I.P they may be willing to do a face to face meeting with you.
Best Regards. IVA Experts

Hi jacko,
Normalyy you dont have to meet your IP unless you are self employed. All the process is done by the phone but you can reuqest and visit your IP.

Hi there. I would base your decision of IP on impartial reviews. I initially chose a local company and although they were very nice, and I met up with them, they did not come through for me. I then chose another IP based on excellent reviews (Melanie Giles, also very nice I hastily add) Melanie is quite happy to meet with me but to be honest there has not been the need. Telephone, email and post have worked fine.
