Hi Chris

You will need to discuss this directly with your Supervisor as your request is exceptional. How did you manage to pay the fee in year 1 and why was this expenditure not taken into account in your original income and expenditure account?

Hello Chris

There really aren't any rules that dictate what can and cannot be included in your I & E other than what your proposal says.

Effectively you contracted, as a minimum, to contribute a monthly amount in to your IVA, subject to a review, and really how you acheive this is, to a degree, irrelevent.

As your income and expenditure is subject to a review, there is no substitute for a reaaly good relationship with your IP firm where you stay in touch, advise them of significant changes and consult with them when you are thinking about doing something that might affect the IVA.

This way, your IP will be aware of and probably sympathetic to your circumstances.

Hi chris and welcome,

Contact your IP and explain this situation but i think this should have been included in the begining when your IVA started.

Michelle P.

Hi Chris, the best way forward is to contact your I.P as soon as possible and explain your situation.

Hi
The discussions that I had with forum members last night really highlighted the difference in how peoples IVAs are supervised. Some people have very flexible, friendly IPs who will overlook some extra income etc and others who have IPs that are so rigid that it you feel you are on your own.
It,s still a little bit of lottery out there.
