Hi Melanie,
Firstly, that i cannot change my IP is a SHAME !!!
But, thank you very much... You are really prompt & give sound advice. I'll try to discuss this with my IP ( or more like his associate , who is handling my case & seems to be in hurry to hang up !!) & let you know the outcome.

Again thanks,
m

Hi Melanie,

Have sent a letter to my IP about the increase in rent but haven't heard from them as yet.
I got a letter from FJF Financial solutions suggesting that bankruptcy is a better option than an IVA. Do you reckon this is just a sales letter sent out or it does make sense to check these people out?
Thanks
m

Why contemplate bankruptcy now?? Your Ip would have not recommended an IVA if it wasn,t best for you.
You have gone through all the worry and uncertainty whilst setting up your IVA and all the money that you have paid will be lost in fees.
The letter is a sales pitch so just bin it.
My advice is to stick with your IVA,you,ll be so glad you did,and chase your IP regarding your rent increase.
Regards

Neverending is correct. You should not end your IVA unless you are really struggling to make the repayments. Presumably bankruptcy was an option you discounted in the first place, so I cannot see any advantage to you of such proceedings now.
