Hi There can someone advise, I am in an IVA and my old Bankaccount was part of the IVA (as it had an overdraft) someone who was sending me money and by accident clicked on the wrong stored bank account details and has therfore sent the money they owed me to my old bank account.
They have been told by there own bank that if the account is closed then the money will return in the next few days.
I dont realy want to explain to them i'm in an IVA but am concerned that the money will vanish ... can anyone tell me if the account will have been closed when the IVA was setup (2 years ago) or will it still accept credits?

The bank cannot hold onto these funds oince the IVA is in place and can either return them to the sender or give them to you or your supervisor. It may take a few days but it should be fine.
