How does a self employed person show Proof of Income to a landlord?

Bank statements, copy of tax return.

If you have been self employed long enough to have completed a tax return then you will be able to download a tax summary from HMRC. This shows your income for that tax year.

Outside of that, then bank statements some banks such even provide certified ones directly from their app.

Or perhaps a letter from an accountant if you use one to handle your business accounts.
