Hi I'm Sue and I have just discovered this site. I have had my iva for just over a year now, it's not easy but I am glad I have things sorted and I can manage. I am with Freeman Jones , who I have found to be helpful, but would be grateful if I could get any help and and advice from anyone going through the same situation.
I do have a question if anyone could help...I am moving in with my partner soon and was wondering if freeman Jones will want his financial details (althugh he is nothing to do with my IVA),as I dont know them and I don't think he would be entirely happy telling either me or freeman Jones.
We will be sharing all the bills etc.. and have set up a joint account for this puropse (my account is with thinkbanking, which i will be keeping.
Can anyone offer me any advice?[:)][8)]

Hi Sue and welcome to the forum.

I think that Freeman Jones will just want to see that your partner is making his fair share of payments into the household as this will obviously free up more of your disposable income for your IVA.

You will obviously have to speak to them to tell them the change in circumstances.

Hopefully one of the experts will be along to advise further.

In circumstances like this with my own clients, I generally trust the information provided with regard to a new partner's income, and use this to assess whether any adjustment is required to my client's payments. So long as you are not worsening your position with the move, there should be no problem.
