Hello
I thought it was about time I posted on this sooper-dooper forum! I recently had my IVA agreed thanks a million times to the wonderful Melanie Giles and her awesome team and was wondering if changing car insurance companies will make a difference to my monthly iva payment? (if i get a cheaper quote for example). I hope this isn't too much of a daft question!
Thanks x

Hi there and welcome peace. I am sure you have found some of that with Melanie.
Personally I have reduced mine slightly. It can always go up and down anyway. To the best of my knowledge if you save from your budget it is yours to keep, but I would wait for Melanie to answer.
No questions are daft so you ask what you want.

Car insurance is pretty competitive these days, so I would be suprised if you would get much saving, however if you were to save a few pounds from your budget, your IVA contributions will not be reviewed until the end of the first year, so you could keep any saving.

Likely as not any saving will soon be gobbled up by all the energy price rises anyway, but still a worthwhile exercise.
