I am almost addicted to books and love reading.

Anyways, at work and church we bring any books that we have read and swap them about. its great fun and we have loads of good discussions about them afterwards. Its almost like our own little book club.

Just thought this would be good for those that like books but are on a tight budget. And of course there is the library but this good too. xx

We have that scheme too at college, you bring a book in and are free to take any book you want in return. I've never found anything I fancy in our system so far but do have a look.

I love reading as well. I know some of my colleagues swap books, but their taste isn't mine so I stick to the library.

I can normally get through 3 or 4 books in a week.

Good system though.

Im terrible at reading, unless on holiday then i cant stop reading, however i have several books i started on holiday, had 50 pages left, promised myself when i got home i would finish them.......there still sat there lol!

i never did find out what happenend to the cat in the hat!!

I've just introduced this sort of book sharing at work. I use the local library and charity shops to get my reading fix, but thought I'd try a"work library"...its proving really popular.

I've just finished a book by Cathy Glass..very, very good.

Not my type of book.

I do family sagas, particularly those set in the 60's and beforehand. I also love Bill Bryson - have two of his on the go at the moment.

I don't have a type, I read anything I can get my hands on. I'm reading Celia Ahern at the moment.

I go through phases and love the books set in Liverpool during wartimes, don't ask me why [:D]

Anywhere set in wartime suits me.

I don't particularly like modern stories.

I'm reading Audrey Howard at the moment, I have Susan Sallis, Margaret Dickinson and Annie Groves amongst others waiting to be read.

i did recently read Dan Browns new book 'The lost Symbol' if you like anythng masonic, esoteric, symbology, templar, religious etc etc then its an awesome book!

Not for me that one!

I swap with family and friends.....but since IVA started in Jan now use library all the time, i put reminder on my phone to remind it needs to be re-newed so i don't get fined....lol

My all time favourite books are Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, and the trilogy of A Horseman riding by by R.F. Delderfield - I can read them again and again and never tire of them.

I like crime novels - Linda Fairstein, Kathy Reichs, Karin Slaughter etc. I've also just discovered John Harvey who is excellent.

My all time favourite book is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

I've never got into crime novels at all.

Julie I've got all Cathy Glass books apart from 'Cut' do you have that? x
