if i enter into an iva will my car be taken as it is on finance.
and does my wife have to enter into the agreement or just me

Hi malc and welcome to the forum. It is usually possible to carry on paying the HP outside of the IVA with the agreement of your creditors, providing the payments aren't extortionate! Once you have finished paying the HP, the extra money will then be paid into your IVA. Just one thing, who is the HP with? There is a post on here regarding Black Horse attempting to reclaim a car from someone in an IVA.

Does your wife have any joint debts with you? If not, there is no need for her to enter into an IVA.

Hi
Also check on the finance agreement as many car loans are actually personal loans and would form part of your IVA.As long as your car is not excessively expensive or extravagant you will be allowed to keep it
