Thomas Charles

When I was looking in to a IVA I contacted Thomas Charles in September 2006, they toald me to stop paying all my creditiors so as not to favour any one And they worked out my spare income was £360.00 a month, so they told me to pay this for 2 months which would show creditiors I am comitted to go in to an IVA. Then they put my in touch with Accuma who completed the IVA, which was accepted in January 2007, of which I currently pay £349.00 a month. Like most IVA it is over 5 years (60 months), does this mean that the two months were I paid Thomas Charles will go towards my IVA so in affect I only pay Accuma for 58 months?

For the record I spoke to some one called Paul at Thomas Charles who was brilliant and i have had a couple of problems with Accuma and paul as always sorted them out.

Those two first payments you made go to Thomas Charles. If your IVA was not accepted they would have refunded you that money back. I too went with Thomas Charles then to Accuma. You make 60 payments with Accuma. I also have had plenty of problems with Accuma but still keep my contact with Thomas Charles to get things sorted!

Life is far too stressful!!
