Keep an eye on the hurdlers trainer [:0]

Complete idiots! I'd have no sympathy for any of them if they'd been hit by a train, it's the innocent people caught up that I'd feel sorry for.

Many moons ago my neighbour at the time was an experienced train driver. He had the misfortune to hit someone playing chicken on the line ..... he never went on a train again !!!! Completely shattered his life.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I feel so sorry for train drivers when that happens - although there's nothing they can do it must destroy them.

Agree with you Skippy, even though they know there's a chance of it happening, no amount of training can prepare for the aftermath of something like that.

On a lighter note, years ago my elderly Nan was walking home and the barriers started coming down but she carried on walking as she didn't realise what the flashing lights and bell were for, and she didn't notice the barriers coming down!

I can never understand why anyone who wants to commit suicide chooses to throw themselves in front of a train. It traumatises the poor driver and possibly the passengers if they see any of it.

If you are that desperate that you want to end your life, please don't involve innocent bystanders!!!

Sorry for the depressive note again but I've had dealings with the aftermath of this sort of incident in the past.

Annoys the hell out of me when jumpers chose rush hour to throw themselves under the tube. Countless mornings going nowhere and regular announcements from TfL letting you know there's been a jumper and it's not their ruddy signals on the blink again! Selfish I know, but why????

I don't think most are thinking straight when they wish to end their life so are not thinking rationally about other people.

I do agree though to live with the aftermath of someone doing it in front of you would be almost too much to bear in some ways x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
