* The ethos of this forum is respect for all at all times

* No advertising links are allowed. Professional experts are however invited to post their web link to provide a point of reference.

* Your security is our prime consideration.

* This ethos is maintained by our moderators who
guard the reputation of the forum with careful vigilance.

If you are unsure about any of these points, the moderators will be only too ready to help.

Generally it means that they will delete any post which is deemed to be unkind, judgemental, obviously irrelevant to the topic or which contains really offensive words or jokes.

(Don't worry too much about minor swear words.. the site will censor them for you !)

In serious and continued contraventions of forum etiquette the poster will be locked out pending a public apology.

Please do not to alter a posting after it has been replied to. This results in such confusion that the whole thread may have to be locked or individual posts deleted.

Please don't give telephone numbers or email addresses on the open forum which could seriously jeopardy your security.

Please refrain from using the forum to carry on private chats with another member to the exclusion of others who have posted on the same topic, or use capital letters only, which denotes shouting

Please refrain from asking routine questions, such as requesting an email exchange, on the forum itself. Such routine requests sent via the 'ask a question facility' will be seen and responded to by the admin team.

But above all, always remember that the moderators are here to help and protect you. If you have any queries at all please post a request asking for a moderator to contact you on a separate thread.

This thread is for reference only, please do not reply.

just a gentle reminder to members
please don't carry out private conversations between a couple of people with the exclusion of other members who have posted on the thread... we very much encourage members to get in contact with like minded members via the 'frugal friends' facility ... which is unique to this forum [:)]
Make yourself a frugal friend, invite another to do the same and you will be able to exchange emails. Many members have used this and many great friendships have resulted [:)]

How does a post from 2009 suddenly show up as a fresh one in 2012? Bizarre!

Kallis has sent an email to admin to see why this has suddenly been resurrected.

Your cards certainly aren't marked. I can't see that you have done anything wrong.
