For those of us at the beginning of the journey ... when looking ahead 5 years seems so daunting, here are a few of the things that took place 5 years AGO ------ doesn't seem that long ... does it [:)]

The New Wembley Stadium in England was completed

British troops withdrew from Basra in Iraq leaving Iraq Security forces in control

Gordon Brown became The new British Prime Minister

Bank Of England bailed out 4th largest mortgage company Northern Rock

Apple Introduced The iPhone

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was released

I agree doesn't seem that long ago Foggy.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It's actually dragging for me at the moment!!!! I'm waiting on a few things and it seems to be going very slow.

I agree it is just over 3 1/2 years now since hubby was made redundant, it has flown by.

This year has flown by for me too compared to the last 6 months of last year once the novelty of getting the IVA approved wore off the enormity of the length of time ahead of us seemed unreal, but these last few months seem to have flown by, I have a feeling next year will drag though being our third year in it.

I've had the year from hell this year and can't wait for it to.be over. Anything that could go wrong did! Next year has to.be better.

This year has flown for me - I can't believe it's only 3 weeks until the wedding!

It's 6 years in October since I went into my IVA and it has gone so quickly. There's been a few bad times, but a lot of good.

lem,
I can confirm the third year really does drag, it seems like I have been looking at 28 down 32 to go forever below my user name.

I just take the IVA month by month and to be honest, I've never really found it dragging, I'm looking forward to finishing but with apprehension. x

Only approaching the end of year 2 -- but not dragging at all so far ( except for the few days before my payment is due out and I am waiting impatiently for my counter to update!)
