Call me mr cynical but it was the usual pretentious junk I was expecting full of people who arent short of cash. The barcode scanner thing the young chap had would be good to have!!!

I didn't get to watch it properly...had a phone call just after it started :(. The lady who did the charity lunch impressed me right up until she took out more than she spent and admitted to not paying for her lunch! I guess charity begins at home!! I also saw a wierd guy make his wife put a packet of cornflakes back on the shelf because they were £1 cheaper somewhere else...wonder how much time and petrol it cost to get those? I thought it was good as a bit of fun.

I will sometimes put stuff back on the shelf at Asda if I know it is cheaper at Tesco but then I have to pass Tesco on the way home so it does work for me.

I forgot about that!! We did wonder how much they had paid for the panels. They don't come cheap.

...Doesn't sound like I need to rush to watch it on catch up tonight then???! The adverts made it sound promising but sounds rubbish. I think all of you could do a fantastic show on how real people save real money and make it stretch further.... Ah well, sorry for the bad tip guys! Paul - I take back my Mr Cynical!!!

Haha no need, cynical is my middle name!!

I imagine many people switched off when the bloke that collects road kill to eat picked up the squirral from the side of the road and had to shake the fag ends off it!!!!

Again though,he had a big house and by the time he drives miles around the countryside to find his next meaty feast,he could have walked to his local butchers and bought a fillet steak!!!
