Saw my consultant yesterday, he feels I am stable enough for now, though agrees that getting my affairs in order is very important. I asked him about my surgery, there's a massive wait there now, though reassured me again that if I deteriorate any further of course I will made a priority. Electively, it's at least a 20 week wait, and I have to accept that this is the way the NHS is now. Gone are the days, where they whip you in within 6 weeks, sort you out before things get worse, and let you get on with your life again. Medicines are cheaper, so they keep you on them for as long as possible. I have a busy morning planned, and just gonna focus on as many different things as possible for the time being.

Sorry you've got to wait this long Quark. I agree with you about medicines - they are cheaper for the NHS and the pharmaceutical companies want to push them to make money whether it's in the interests of the patients or not.

I hope you had a good morning x

I'm fine thanks Jan, saw my GP this morning and he was pretty good in all. He's going to pull some strings and see me again next week. I have just got to keep it together.
