...well almost!
Other half came home with high street vouchers Saturday earned from achieving targets in store. So instead of being selfish and wasting it on ourselves buying something we'd probably never use or wear we took our little boy to legoland yesterday. Used the vouchers to get in and then only had to buy food. Despite it raining all day we had an amazing time and my little boy smiled all day long :-)
Cost us hardly nothing and we had one very happy boy :-) was so nice being able to treat him and felt amazing knowing it cost us hardly anything!
I'm loving this new frugal me..next task, car boot Saturday (pending weather!)

I totally agree and what a great treat for your little boy. Look at my wedding photos of my bro's wedding and it was lego inspired and he's 32!

Good luck with the carboot too.

Sounds amazing! I'll definately be checking them out! I've never been legoland before but thought it was brilliant! Even got to see the queen in her very own Lego built jubilee barge! ;-)

Ooooh, this frugal lark is catching..my other half used to work for a packaging company and when he left he ended up with a load of stock in the form of carrier bags. We've made use of the black bags but have had boxes of other random sized carrier bags sitting in the garage gathering dust. Anyway..he popped into the butcher by his work yesterday and is today giving the butcher over 3000 carrier bags in exchange for some meat!! Happy days! [:D]

I saw your photos footiemad. Jealous! Did you win a comp or was it a work trip?

It was work Kazza. Don't think I have ever won anything in my Life but it was a great trip - even on the telly albeit briefly. Back to reality now x

It looked like a great match. Shame about yesterdays - it's anyones win today.

Glad you enjoyed it.
