Our dogs have never got on the sofa since the day many moons ago we came home to find a snow scene in the front room.

And discovered 2 dogs rolling around in the stuffing they had enjoyed pulling out of the sofa,2 chairs and a pouffe(got to watch the spelling on that!!!).

The most Taz puts up is a paw or 2 while sitting on the floor begging for toast crusts!!!!

[:D][:D]

Ours are pretty good - they just lie on there. The chair has a bit of a bending when anyone comes down the road as they have to nose out of the window and bark!!!

Thankfully we're in a cul de sac so no passing traffic!!!

Our little dog used to jump onto the chair in front of the window if the door went,if Taz tried that he would push the chair through the wall/window!!!

Quite funny actually as the chair at the window is the best one, wife sits in the other armchair and I sit on the sofa, with son.

The chair that never gets sat on unless we have guests looks almost new!!! The same cannot be said for the others.

Our sofa is the least used - hubby has one chair and me the other - shared equally with the dogs.

The sofa has a throw on it so it's protected somewhat from the dogs.

Don't think mine would even know it was possible to get on a sofa, very rare they come in the lounge they like it in the dining room (or so I tell em).
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Ours have the run of the house when we're at home, and just the downstairs when we're out.

Well Fred has well and truly nicked my TV chair ( swivel recliner thingy). As soon as I get up he is in it sprawled right out. Trouble is he also sharpens his claws on it, so it will soon be only fit for him anyway .... maybe that's his plan !!!

Get a cheap throw to put on there for him to sharpen his claws - will ssve the chair anyway.

That is one thing in favour of dogs - they don't do that!!!

Dobby has his own sofa and chair..we call it the waiting chair. He seems to know when hubby is coming home and sits on his chair in antcipation!

He is allowed on our sofa and I love having cwtches with Dobby on the sofa, it's our special time.

We do have some rules[:)] he is not allowed upstairs!

At the moment I am on the sofa, Topsy is one side of me and Suzie the other. Lloyd is with his dad!!!

Our sleep with us - thankfully we have a kingsize bed!

I'm typing with The Dobster's head snuggled on the laptop [:)]

Our kingsize wouldn't be big enough for him[:)].. upstairs is reserved for Teide & Latchford.

On a serious note, we make sure Dobby avoids steps/stairs as Dobermans struggle with them.

Our Great Dane could never manage stairs either. These three have no problems at all!
