Hi I'm coming up to my 4th yr in a joint IVA with grant Thornton., my husband & I are seperating & he's due to move out soon what happens nxt he says he's not gonna pay whilst he's not living here

Hi. You need to speak to your ip about this. Your ivas can be split and so he would be responsible for paying his share.

Will you be able to afford to carry on with yours?

Sorry to hear things are not good and a separation is going to happen.....my advise mirrors that of Kallis - speak with your IP and request they look at separating your payments and remove the interlocking element. If you have a mortgage on the house then your IP will need to explain to you all about how this will now work - let us know if we can support any more through this difficult time.
