Today I had a call purporting to come from The Office of Fair Trading. It seems they have a cheque for me from the Government for £4000. It's remarkable in that they have my ex directory Telephone number, my name and my address. They ask you to verify these details so that they can proceed. When I mentioned I thought this was a scam I'd not come across before and would they continue they got a tad upset and hung up on me. I just thought I'd let you know this is going the rounds although I know none of you would fall foul of this .... let your friends know too.

The best psychological health comes from admitting your faults and recognizing they're caused by someone else.

I will thoroughly enjoy speaking to them if they phone me up! I will be warning my parents as well although they're quite savvy when it comes to things like this and would never agree to anything unless they asked me about it first.
