I got a really good deal on my home insurance through Quidco and should have got £60 cash back. I raised a claim and told it would take 3 months. Now I've been told it will be 6! This is the first time I've ever bought anything through Quidco and was wondering it this usual?

I use it when I tbink about it but must admit I've not thought much about the length of time it takes to.receive the money.

Not sure if I'd use Quidco again if it takes this long. Got a feeling I'm not going to see that money.

I've always had my cashback through Quidco too, that is normally represetative of their system or not what I've been used to anyway. Hope you get it very soon. x

we always have had our money and depending the company your buying from depends on the length of time to recieve the money back. We recently got money back from tesco but that also took 6 months to clear

I am still waiting for some in-store cash back from last March. That said, I have used Quidco many times and only had a couple that have not been paid.

If you are going to spend the money anyway, there is little to lose (other than your time, provided the potential cash back does not influence the purchase decision).

However it can sometimes feel like you've lost money if you don't think it is going to be paid!

I used to use Quidco, but recently I've switched to Topcashback as the casnack amounts seem to be a bit better and payout generally quicker. I signed up through http://www.nobrainers.co.uk to get an extra £5 signup bonus too.

Thanks guys.

That leaves me with only one cashback failure that disappointed me. I think the problem that I had with sports direct was that I bought trainers and a t-shirt that just took me over the free delivery threshold, after ordering they contacted me and said that they could not supply the t-shirt. I still got free delivery, but I guess the changing order value caused problems.[V]
