Oh good grief! A few months ago I was bombarded with emails asking me if I wanted to buy cheap viagra! This week I am getting 5 a day asking me if I want a payday loan!
It does annoy me as I am sure it is very tempting for people who are really struggling and it's a slippery slope.
I spend most of my time deleting emails at present!!

I get them as well although they do drop into my spam inbox. I just delete anything in there.

I know how people are tempted - my daughter has been one of them but I think she is sorted now!

Glad your daughter is sorted Jan, again sometimes people take these emails as a way out of problems etc.,
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I never get them thankfully. I wouldn't even send them to spam - just hit the delete button.

Lesley, her fiance has sorted her out. I hope she has learned her lesson.

every other advert on tv seems to be about payday loans - must be extremely tempting for some and most likely would lead to future financial difficulties.
full and final accepted January 2015

iva agreed; August 2010
iva would have completed; August 2017

It certainly will - I'm fed up of seeing them! I particularly dislike the one for Wonga - those old lady puppets!! There is something not nice about them.

It's the puppets - there's something not nice about them at all! Nothing agains the senior generation - not far off being one of them myself!!

These companies are all the same - prey on the vulnerable and then start loading the interest on when you can't pay.

Let's face it, you have to be desperate to go there in the first place and they know that.

Have to be honest and say I cringe when I see the APR. Just seen a new ad today which is much cheaper with a 69% APR!!!
