After telling Oscar the other week how un-artistic I am I thought I should put things right - I'm more artistic than I thought I was!

I decided that I wanted to make my own wedding invitations and when I told a few people they looked very sceptical. I ignored them, bought the bits and pieces on Ebay and I have to say I'm quite proud of the end result!

It was so difficult to get the right wording on the shop bought ones as well as most were done as if they were from the bride's parents which isn't appropriate in our case. I spent more than I meant to, but they probably are still cheaper than if I'd bought similar in the shops.

I ordered a hand made 80th birthday card last year off the internet for my mum in law I had no idea until it was hand delivered to my door that it was an immediate housebound disabled neighbour who was making them and I have never seen such a beautifull top notch attention to detail card in all my life.Amazing. Just goes to show.....

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

On the rare occasions there are flowers in the house, hubby has to sort them out as I just stick them in a vase!!!
